In the case of Roşia Poieni open pit mine level +805 m was established as a daily operating limit; division into benches based on this by dividing horizontal slices with thickness 15 m, equal to height bench. Thus, there were 27 in Curmătura area and 23 Ruginiş area. The general slope angle set at 35°, for which tailings volumes implicitly opening-up coefficient calculated. stability analysis performed individual bench, 2 system quarry (consisting 24 benches), using two methods (Fellenius Janbu). A polygonal slip surface also modelled; such potential landslide surfaces can appear slopes due natural cracking systems massif but secondary generated used drilling-blasting works (exploitation technology). check done applying Hoek’s graphical-analytical method; determined values safety factor satisfy condition being greater than 1.3. these circumstances, no further measures are required increase reserve.
